How to Stay Active at Home

If you don’t have the time to get up and run a mile every day, there are many other ways to stay active in your home. Instead of relying on your treadmill or elliptical machine, try working out outside. Workout outside

Dance, go for a walk, or even climb the stairs can all be effective ways to get moving and stay healthy. These projects can be difficult to do, but if you’re up for the challenge, you can still be active while doing them.

Avoid spending hours in front of a screen

While increasing your physical activity is essential to staying fit, overdoing it can have negative consequences. Screen time can actually increase your risk of stroke, cardiovascular disease, and obesity. Try to limit the time you spend in front of the TV, computer, or other screen-based activities to a few short periods during the day.
